About Us
Our Story & Mission
Eyecart was founded by Dr. Shiv Sharma, an Optometrist in British Columbia, Canada whose clinical practice includes a significant amount of cases of patients presenting with dry eye disease in addition to comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Sharma noticed that dry eye sufferers were having trouble accessing much needed specialty eye care products in between visits and were thus having limited success in treatment and inconsistent results. To help address this issue, Eyecart was launched in 2020 with a goal of providing quick and convenient access to premium quality eye care products.
The specialty eye care products found on our website are all of the highest quality and are frequently recommended by practicing eye clinicians across Canada. Dr. Shiv Sharma is a practicing Optometrist in British Columbia, Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in M.B.B. from Simon Fraser University and Doctor Of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. His clinical areas of interest include ocular disease, pediatric optometry, dry eye disease, and primary eye care. He loves technology and incorporating cutting edge care in to his practice. He has lectured and consulted for several eye care industry companies in the dry eye, contact lens, and practice management space.
